2015 Longhop Shiraz

A big rich mouthful of a wine packed to the gills with succulent black fruits.

Aged in seasoned French and American oak. Impenetrable midnight black dark red colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced liquorice top notes carry the nose through to ripe black cherry aromatics followed by vanillin cedar, new leather and spice. Rich, opulent, thickly textured flavours of liquorice, ripe blackberries and black cherries flood the mouth over toasty vanillin cedar, some fennel and blackpepper. Velvet like tannins. Excellent power and concentration with a long luscious finish of liquorice, ripe blackberries, black cherries, toasty vanillin oak and blackpepper.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
