Deep dark red black tinged colour with a dark red hue. Pronounced aniseed and dark plum aromas meld into hints of toasty oak, fennel, scorched earth and spice. Medium bodied with a soft textural feel the palate has generous liquorice and dark plum flavours which oversee toasty oak, earthy fennel and spice characters. Very smooth tannins. Concludes with a medium length finish.
