2015 Levantine Hill Syrah

Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Fragrant aromas of red berries and red liquorice laced with clove meld into smoky cedar, some meatiness and spicy dried herbs. The refined, supple palate shows plenty of polish with flavours of red to dark cherries and liquorice subtlety infused with clove hovering over a back drop of smoky vanillin cedar, dried herbs and light pepper. Elegant, velvet smooth tannins provide the framework with a very long and savoury conclusion of spicy dark cherries, liquorice, clove, smoky vanillin cedar, dried herbs and pepper.
