2015 Lethbridge Shiraz

Excellent depth of colour displaying an inky black core with a dark purple black tinged hue. Aromas of black cherries and liquorice are overlaid by smoked meats, earth, faint vanillin cedar, black olive and blackpepper. Medium bodied and tightly knit with a cool climate elegance and ripe but chewy tannins, the palate has flavours of black cherries and liquorice infused with black olives. These meld into smoked meat and earth elements finishing dry with bright acidity and plenty of pepper. Concludes much the same way it started with plenty of meaty characters and blackpepper surrounding the fruit.
