Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Ripe juicy dark plum top notes combine with liquorice over toasty vanillin oak and some subtle spicy Christmas cake like notes. Rich and plump in texture the palate features luscious dark plum and liquorice flavours which sit over vanillin oak. Finishes spicy with good freshness. Velvet smooth tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of juicy dark plums, liquorice, vanillin oak and spice.
