2015 Koonara Wanderlust Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon

Pitch black core with a deep dark red black tinged hue. The nose shows good uplift with ripe blackcurrant aromas leading the way. Subtle liquorice, choc mint, vanillin cedar and spice notes ensue. Full in body and amply concentrated, rich blackcurrant flavours engulf the mouth sitting over a back drop of choc mint, lightly toasted vanillin oak and spice. Sturdily built tannins yet velvet like in appearance. Excellent depth and volume concluding with a long ripe blackcurrant dominated aftertaste.
