2015 John Gehrig Wines Snarts Block Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Nosing offers up aromas of blackpepper, black olives and a touch of liquorice followed by subtle notions of dried meats and spicy vanillin cedar. Much more forthcoming on the palate a rich combination of black cherries and liquorice is followed by fresh Morello cherries, vanillin cedar, dried meats and spicy pepper. Dry chewy finish with bright acidity and firmly built tannins. Long chewy finish of black and Morello cherries, liquorice, vanillin cedar, subtle dried meats and pepper.
Cellar 5-6 years.
