Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep very dark red hue. Aromas of blackcurrant and liquorice flow into cedary tobacco characters, black olives and spicy dried herb notes. Medium to full bodied the palate has generous ripe blackcurrant and mulberry flavours laced with tobacco, dried herbs and spice. Dryish finish with a chalky firmness to the tannins. Aftertaste of spicy blackcurrant, tobacco and dried herbs.
