Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of liquorice and ripe plum are followed by lightly smoked vanillin cedar, fennel and pepper. Fleshy dark plum and liquorice flavours sit over some smoky earth, toasty oak, dried meats and blackpepper on the medium weighted palate. Sleek yet slightly grippy tannins. Finishes with a medium length aftertaste.
