Opaque black dark red colour with a very dark red hue. Spicy ripe black currant and mulberry aromas are flanked by cedary tobacco and spicy dried herb characters. Full in body the rich palate is filled with ripe blackcurrant and liquorice fruit which has an undercard of cedary tobacco characters, earthy dried herbs and spice. Excellent concentration with ripe sturdy tannins drying out the finish just a tad. Medium to long aftertaste.
