2015 Houghton Crofters Cabernet Sauvignon

Totally opaque black dark red core with a dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced blackcurrant aromas are tied to mulberry, cigar box, subtle black olive and spicy dried bay leaf notes. Medium bodied the palate is loaded with rich blackcurrant fruit. Elements of mulberry, cedary tobacco characters, black olive, bay leaf and spice play a supporting role. Perfectly integrated tannins have a velvety feel yet also possess underlying structure. Excellent depth with a long spicy blackcurrant, mulberry, cigar box, black olive and bay leaf laced aftertaste. Great value.
