Opaque black dark red colour with a dark red purple hue. The nose offers up ripe blackberry and dark chocolate aromas over some liquorice and spicy vanillin oak. Medium to full bodied with abundant richness and a soft, plushly textured mouthfeel the palate has generous ripe blackberry, dark plum and liquorice flavours underpinned by chocolatey vanillin oak and spice. Velvet smooth tannins with an aftertaste of ripe blackberries, liquorice, dark chocolate and spicy vanillin oak.
