Dense midnight black in colour with a deep dark red black hue. Elevated aniseed, black cherry and leather scents are followed by earth and pepper notes. Rich and plush with aniseed and ripe black cherry fruits to the fore, tertiary characters of spicy vanillin oak, leather and earth then move in on the back palate which is beginning to show signs of drying out. Grippy tannins with a muscular finish that’s infused with leather and earth.
