2015 Grant Burge 5th Generation Barossa Merlot

Deep dark red black tinged colour with a dark red hue. Nosing reveals aromas of dark plums and dark chocolate intermixed with vanillin oak and spicy dried herb notes. Soft and plush in texture the medium weighted palate dishes up generous flavours of spicy dark plums laced with traces of dark chocolate over vanillin oak and subtle earthy tobacco. Velvet smooth tannins. Aftertaste of spicy dark plums, subtle dark chocolate, vanillin oak and faint earthy tobacco.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
