2015 Glenlofty Estate The Sawmill Vineyard Shiraz

Totally opaque black purple core with a dark purple red hue. The lifted nose dispels loads of blackpepper notes along with liquorice and dark plum aromas which sit atop dried meats, earthy vanillin cedar and spice. Medium to full bodied, concentrated flavours of spicy dark plums, blackberries and liquorice fill the mouth showing excellent richness. Underscoring the fruit are elements of smoky vanillin cedar, earth and blackpepper. Very savoury with an elegant, supple feel. Velvety yet structured tannins. Excellent depth with a long spicy dark plum, liquorice, smoky vanillin cedar, earth and blackpepper aftertaste.
