Matured for 12 months in American oak barrels. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep crimson black hue. Intense aromatics of liquorice and spearmint intermix with ripe plum, vanillin cedar, hints of dark chocolate and a touch of spice. Medium to full bodied with a generous plushly textured mouthfeel the palate features juicy plum, liquorice and spearmint flavours over vanillin cedar and spice. Velvet smooth tannins. Long aftertaste of plum, dark chocolate, spearmint, vanillin oak and spice.
