2015 Frogmore Creek Pinot Noir

Full of intense, rich fruit flavours this is an excellent example of Tassie Pinot.

Shows good depth with a dark red core and black tinged edges with a bright dark red hue. Beautifully scented the nose unveils aromas of violets intermixed with ripe dark cherries, strawberries and incense infusions with lightly toasted cedar and spice following on. The rich medium weighted palate is decorated with juicy flavours of dark cherries, plums and strawberries which overlay incense infusions and smoky cedar, finishing quite spicy. A supple textural feel and velvety tannins work hand in hand with the succulent fruit. Excellent power wave with a long spicy aftertaste of juicy dark cherries, plums, incense infusions, smoky cedar and dried meats.
