2015 Fire Gully Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a crimson red hue. The nose displays some herbaceous green bean and tobacco leaf like notes followed by hints of mulberry, dusty cedar and spice. The herbaceous green characters also run through the palate with green bean, tobacco leaf, mulberry and spicy cedar flavours. Dry, slightly bitter finish with bright acidity and fine grained tannins. Concludes much the same way it started with green, stalky characters dominate. Pass.
