This is the only wine in the range to display any appreciable amount of wood though not so much as to impair the sense of purity to the liqueur-like red cherry aromas that evidence plenty of floral character and in particular rose petal. There is excellent concentration to the elegant and refined medium weight flavors that brim with minerality on the robust, intense and powerful finish. In a word, impressive.
