A slightly less complex nose is composed by notes of resin, petrol and the essence of apple and pear confit. There is outstanding richness to the dense, powerful and succulent big-bodied flavors that possess a creamy, indeed even buttery, texture before concluding in an unctuous but not heavy finish. This is borderline tannic yet I would not be inclined to age it beyond a few years.
