Deep dark red black tinged colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of dark cherries and liquorice have a leathery overlay with earth and spice notes also present. Medium bodied with a generous textural feel the palate also has a distinct leatheriness to it particularly on the finish and aftertaste. Before that ripe dark cherry flavours are evident along with some earth and spice. Fine grained tannins. Modest leathery conclusion.
