2015 Delas Saint-Esprit Cotes du Rhone

Opaque dark purple black colour with a bright dark purple hue. Inky freshly crushed dark cherry and dark plum scents are followed by some liquorice, hints of incense and spice. Light to medium bodied and still very youthful the palate has generous freshly crushed dark cherry and dark raspberry flavours intermixed with touches of liquorice, inky earth and spice. Dryish finish with slightly chewy tannins that will fully integrate with a few more years bottle age. Aftertaste of inky dark cherries, spicy dark raspberries and lightly scorched earth.
