2015 De Bortoli Bella Riva Sangiovese

Matured in older oak casks for 12 months. Opaque dark red core with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Earthy red currant aromas are followed by dried herbs and subtle spicy tobacco notes. More forthcoming the palate displays generous ripe red currant and dark cherry flavours over a back drop of earthy tobacco characters and spicy dried herbs. Slightly dryish but integrated tannins. Rustic finish of spicy dark fruits, earth and dried herbs.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
