Opaque black bright dark red colour with a bright dark red hue. Aromas of blackcurrant and ripe dark cherries are intermixed with hints of liquorice over some vanillin cedar and spice. Medium bodied the palate has vibrant flavours of red & blackcurrant and dark cherries subtlety infused with spicy cedar and hints of dried herbs. Slightly dryish tannins but otherwise fine grained. Aftertaste of red currants, dark cherries and spicy cedar.
