2015 Craiglee JADV Shiraz

JADV stands for Just A Dash of Viognier. Totally opaque black core with a dark red black tinged hue. The nose is scented with black cherries and liquorice which are trailed by scorched earth, dried meats, fennel and blackpepper. Medium to full bodied, juicy black cherry and liquorice fruits are complimented by subtle smoky vanillin oak, scorched earth and blackpepper characters. Good underlying acidity with polished yet structured tannins concluding with a spicy black fruited, liquorice, smoky vanillin cedar, dried meat and blackpepper aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
