Matured for 18 months in seasoned French oak. Totally opaque black dark red core with a dark red hue. Plum jam and ripe black cherry aromas lead the charge over some liquorice, subtle dried fruits and spicy vanillin cedar. Full bodied with a luscious mouthfeel the palate possesses rich plum jam and liquorice flavours over some dried fruits, lightly toasted cedar and spice. Soft fine grained tannins. Finishes a touch short with an aftertaste of plum jam, liquorice, vanillin cedar and spicy dried fruits.
