2015 Cloudy Bay Pinot Noir

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Perfumed aromas of spicy dark cherries and a hint of violets are tinged with anise and toasty cedar, earthy dried herb notes ensuing. The light to medium weight palate is one of elegance featuring dark cherry, subtle plum and anise flavours over a toasty cedar back drop. Finishes dry and spicy with fine grained tannins and relatively bright acidity. Aftertaste of spicy dark cherries, anise and toasty cedar.
