2015 Cloudy Bay Chardonnay

Bright pale straw colour with a faint tinge of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. Aromas of nectarines and white peaches meld into biscuity oak and subtle dried honey characters with hints of cashew and spicy nougat also apparent. The palate has good body weight and richness featuring mouthfilling flavours of ripe nectarines, subtle apricot and dried honey over light biscuity oak, cashew and citrusy nougat. There’s a roundness to the mid palates textural feel but it finishes with beautifully balanced freshness. Excellent length with a long white peach, dried honey, cashew and citrusy nougat aftertaste. Deftly balanced, this has power aplenty.
