Totally opaque black purple colour with a bright dark purple hue. Fragrant aromas of spicy dark plums and liquorice are overlaid by some clove with a light meatiness and pepper following on. The palate is generously endowed with juicy dark cherry, plum and liquorice flavours underpinned by some meaty characters and spicy pepper. Dryish finish with fine grained tannins and bright acidity. Aftertaste of spicy dark plums, liquorice, meaty characters, vanillin cedar and pepper.
