A fine mousse dissipates to reveal a pale straw coloured base that has pale gold edges and is threaded by a persistent bead. Aromas of pear and baked apple mingle with toasted bread, yeast lees and citrus. Crisp and racy the palate has a refined flavour profile of pear, baked bread and yeast lees over roasted almonds. Finishes dry with a twist of citrus and a faintly creamed but otherwise sculptured aftertaste.
