2015 Castagna Adam's Rib The Red

Nebbiolo with a smidgen of Shiraz. Deep red colour with tinges of black around the edges and a light brick red hue. Fragrant aromatics of rose petals, red cherries and red raspberries blossom from the glass intermixing with hints of earth, tobacco and spicy dried herbs along the way. Quite supple in its feel the medium bodied palate serves up delicious red cherry and red raspberry fruits which overlay earth, infusions of dried herbs and spice. Faintly dryish finish with slightly rustic but otherwise very well integrated tannins and fresh acidity. Finishes long, elegant and moreish.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
