Totally opaque midnight black colour with a deep dark purple hue. Lifted liquorice and blackberry top notes overlay toasty vanillin cedar, earthy dried meats and blackpepper. Full bodied and opulently textured, succulent flavours of liquorice and ripe blackberries decorate the front half of the palate followed by some toasty vanillin oak, earth and spicy pepper. Velvet smooth tannins. Excellent richness with a long liquorice, blackberry, toasty oak, earth and spicy pepper aftertaste.
