2015 Cantina Vini Tipici dell'Aretino de Vasari Chianti Riserva

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Spicy red to black currant aromas intermingle with earth, tobacco and dried herb notes. Medium bodied the palate combines a rustic old world charm with generous red to black currant and red cherry fruits. Adding interest are elements of earth, dried herbs and spicy tobacco. Dryish finish with slightly chalky tannins and bright acidity. Concludes with a robust aftertaste that sees traces of leather creeping in.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
