2015 Cannibal Creek Pinot Noir

Semi translucent bright ruby red colour with a crimson purple tinged hue. Exuberant aromas of ripe red cherries, raspberries and strawberries lead the attack on the olfactory senses with some anise infusions and faint spicy cedar also present. Very youthful crushed berry flavours of red cherries and strawberries dominate the palate over some light earthy cedar and spice. Fresh finish with fine grained well integrated tannins. Aftertaste of ripe red cherries, strawberries, faint earth and spicy cedar. Simple and fruity, at this early stage of its life it lacks complexity.
