Matured for 12 months in French and American oak hogsheads. Totally opaque black dark red core with a deep dark red hue. Elevated aromas of ripe black cherries and liquorice are trailed by hints of choc mint, vanillin oak and spice. Rich with an opulent chewy mouthfeel the palate is swamped with juicy black cherry and liquorice flavours underpinned by vanillin cedar, subtle hints of dark chocolate and spice. Ripe firmly built tannins. Excellent concentration with a long black cherry, liquorice and spicy vanillin oak aftertaste.
