2015 Bleasdale Second Innings Malbec

Superb inky black dark purple colour with a deep youthful dark purple hue. Freshly crushed ripe berry aromatics of blackberries, blueberries and liquorice are followed by some incense and spicy vanillin cedar. Medium to full bodied the palate is full of juicy vibrant fruit with ripe dark cherry, liquorice and dark plum flavours bouncing off some earthy vanillin cedar and a spicy finish. A robust tannin structure combines with bright youthful acidity to provide the framework. Aftertaste of spicy ripe dark cherries, liquorice, dark plum and earthy vanillin cedar.
