2015 Bernard Baudry Les Granges Chinon

Very deep dark purple black tinged colour with a vibrant purple red hue. Raspberry, dark cherries and dried herb aromas are overlaid by some inky scorched earth characters with spicy end notes. Light and dry, initial fruity raspberry and dark cherry flavours meld into some scorched earth with spicy dried herbs following on. Dry finish with bright acidity and slightly chalky tannins. Aftertaste of spicy raspberries, scorched earth, dark cherries and dried herb infusions.
Cellar 3-4 years.
