2015 Beechworth Wine Estates Chardonnay

Brilliant straw colour with tinges of green around the edges and a watery hue. Showing excellent intensity the nose exhibits aromas of ripe peaches, nectarine and dried honey laced with flinty struck matchstick and cashew characters followed by toasty oak and spice. Possessing good richness and a creamy like textural feel the palate has mouthfilling flavours of ripe peaches, nectarine and dried honey married to roasted almond like characters with a spicy dry finish. Good well balanced acidity provides the wine with its freshness. Medium to long aftertaste of ripe peaches, nectarine, dried honey, roasted almonds and spice.
