Opaque dark red black colour with a very dark red hue. Very ripe cherry aromas are overlaid by prune, black olive and dried herbs notes followed by some dusty earth and spice. Medium bodied with a very dry finish the palate has a combination of dried cherry and prune flavours over scorched cedar, earthy dried herbs and spice. Slightly chalky tannins and bright acidity with a short finish of dried cherries, prunes, dried herbs, scorched earth and spice.
