2015 Barone Sergio Suli Nero d'Avola

Totally opaque black dark red core with a dark red hue. Fragrant scents of dark to black cherries and liquorice infused with a mix of herbs and incense are trailed by some spicy earth and balsamic notes. Medium bodied black cherry and liquorice flavours are intermeshed with infusions of incense, dried herbs, earth and spice. The finish is beginning to dry out with velvety yet rustic tannins. Some leather emerging on the medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
