2015 Bannockburn de la Terre Pinot Noir

Deep dark red core with black tinged edges and a brick red hue. Lifted dark cherry and plum aromas laced with dried clove and smoky cedar emerge from the glass over a backdrop of gamey forest floor characters and spicy dried herbs. Supplely textured dark cherry flavours are overlaid by prominent stalky dried clove elements, smoky cedar, subtle forest floor characters and spicy dried herbs. Slightly dry on the finish with velvety tannins. Medium power and aftertaste. The strong stemmy whole bunch characters will be too much for many.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
