2015 Atze's Corner Eddies Old Vine Shiraz

Aged in new and seasoned French and American oak hogsheads. Pitch black colour with a very deep dark red black hue. Powerful liquorice, dark plum, blackberry and dark chocolate aromas emanate from the glass followed by toasty vanillin oak, earth, hints of fennel and spice. Magnificently rich and concentrated, thick mouth coating flavours of liquorice, ripe blackberries and dark plum engulf the palate. Sitting beneath the opulently textured black fruit is a tapestry of scorched earth, vanillin oak, dark chocolate and spice. Velvet smooth yet structural tannins. Exceptional intensity with a very long sumptuous aftertaste.
