2014 Yalumba The Virgilius Viognier

Brilliant very pale straw colour with a distinctive greenish tinge around the edges and a watery hue. Lifted ripe apricot top notes are followed by some peach, a touch of honeysuckle, light lemon and spice. Rich ripe apricot and tropical fruit on the turn intermix with some honeysuckle and peach flavours. Spicy, dry finish with an almost creamy textural feel offset against fresh lively acidity. Excellent length with a long conclusion of spicy apricot, peach, tropical fruit on the turn and honeysuckle.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
