2014 Yalumba The Menzies Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon

Impressive black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Alluring ripe blackcurrant scents intermix with hints of liquorice, cedary tobacco characters, subtle earth, spice and notions of bay leaf. Medium to full bodied, the rich blackcurrant fruit gives the mid palate a plush, velvety feel. Mulberry, cedary tobacco characters, subtle earthy black olives and spicy bay leaf nuances sit beneath. Structured yet refined and polished tannins. Excellent length with a long ripe blackcurrant, mulberry, cedary tobacco character, light earth and spicy bay leaf aftertaste.
