2014 Yalumba Paradox Shiraz

Impenetrable inky black colour with a bright dark red black tinged hue. Perfumed aromas of liquorice and blackberry gently laced with violets blossom from the glass followed by subtle toasty vanillin cedar, confectionary and light pepper. Medium to full bodied with sublime richness and a beautiful supple textural feel the palate dishes up a sumptuous flavour profile of liquorice, blackberries, dark plums and a trace of dark chocolate over subtlety toasted vanillin cedar, dried meats and spice. Velvet smooth tannins are perfectly interwoven with the fruit. Elegantly powerful with a long dark plum, liquorice, blackberry, toasty vanillin oak, dried meats and spice aftertaste.
