Deep, slightly hazy, dark red colour with a dark crimson red hue. Violet top notes are followed by a mix of dark and red cherries with an underlying meatiness, some clove and spicy cedar also present. The palate is quite light in weight and possesses a variety of ripeness in its cherry fruit from sour through to red and dark. Nuances of clove, dried meats and spicy cedar are also present. Good freshness on the finish with fine grained tannins. Good length with an aftertaste of sour and red cherries, clove, spicy meatiness and light cedar.
