Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. The nose offers up ripe blackcurrant and dark plum top notes followed by vanillin cedar, a hint of liquorice and spice. Medium to full bodied and quite plump the palate dishes up ripe plummy blackcurrant flavours which sit over vanillin cedar and subtle spicy tobacco infusions. Very fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of plummy blackcurrant, vanillin cedar and spicy tobacco.
