2014 Vina Las Perdices Ala Colorada Cabernet Franc

Aged in French oak for 12 months. Deep dark red core with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Spicy red currant aromas run into some toasty cedar, tobacco and a hint of capsicum. Medium bodied the palate is filled with generous red to black currant flavours which meld into toasty cedar, scorched earth, dark chocolate and spicy tobacco characters. Dryish, slightly bitter finish with fine grained tannins and a spicy clove aftertaste.
