2014 Tyrrell's Wines Rufus Stone Heathcote Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Pronounced ripe blackberry and liquorice scents merge with vanillin oak, earth and spice. Medium to full bodied with a generous plush mouthfeel the palate offers up flavours of rich blackberry and liquorice over vanillin cedar, a touch of earthy dark chocolate and some spicy pepper elements. Well integrated velvet smooth tannins finishing medium to long with a blackberry, liquorice, vanillin cedar, light earthy dark chocolate and spicy blackpepper aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
