2014 Trenel Fleurie Beaujolais

Deep dark red colour with a tinge of black around the edges and a dark red hue. Fragrantly scented with aromatics of violets, dark cherries and incense prevalent over scorched earth and spicy herbs. Light in body with a combination of red and sour cherries, and strawberries followed by earthy incense like infusions and spice. Dry finish with bright acidity and fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of red and sour cherries, earthy incense characters and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
